🎯 What You'll Need
Essential Equipment
- Dartboard: Standard bristle dartboard, securely mounted at regulation height (5 feet 8 inches to center), properly rotated to distribute wear.
- Lighting: Dedicated dartboard light, should eliminate shadows on the board. Recommended: LED surround lighting.
AutoDarts Setup
- Camera with clear view of the board (Recommended: 720p or higher resolution).
- Stable mounting position.
- Good lighting for accurate detection.
Streaming Equipment
- Webcam for board view.
- Stable internet connection (minimum 5Mbps upload).
- Discord account for match streaming (Join The Shed Darts Community).
- Optional: Second camera for player view.
Additional Recommendations
Playing Area
- Clear throwing space (minimum 7'6" from board).
- Non-reflective wall behind board.
- Proper flooring with throw line marker.
Maintenance
- Board rotation schedule.
- Spare flights and shafts.
- Board cleaning supplies.
Network Setup
- Wired internet connection preferred.
- Backup mobile hotspot recommended.
- Close other bandwidth-heavy applications.
